Our Staff

The Ironing Lady's staff take a genuine pride in their work. Dedicated to customer satisfaction, you can be assured of a professional but friendly approach from our experienced and happy staff. All our ladies are undergoing continuous training and development, working towards relevant qualifications which recognise their skills.

Jackie
	After seven years as a CEO in London, Jackie invested her early retirement lump sum in setting up The Ironing Lady Ltd. Her aim is to ensure the business earns the reputation of being the best of its kind. Nanny to two lovely little girls, the only down side of the business is shortage of spare time to spend with them!!

In the two and a half years since start up, Jackie now employs eight part-time staff. Here's the low down on her ladies:

Karen
	Karen has been with us over a year and enjoys the social aspect of the job. Cheerful and friendly, she likes to meet people. Karen works to pay for her real interests: socialising, holidays and buying clothes! Karen's three children are grown up but still live at home - she must make them far too comfortable!

Danielle
	A busy mum to three young children, we all marvel at her cheerfulness. Willing to turn her hand to both companies, The Ironing Lady or The Cleaning Ladies, you will always hear Danielle sing as she works!

Ona
	Our longest serving member of staff, Ona supervises the laundry and ironing. In what little spare time she has, she enjoys crosswords, knitting and music. Ona is still studying to improve her English and visits her family in Lithuania twice a year for a very well earned holiday!

Nittaya
	Nittaya is now the proud mum of a beautiful baby girl, and hopes to be back to work full-time after christmas!

Augusta
	Augusta is studying but works here in all her spare time. She loves singing, dancing, cooking, films and music. She is a very happy person!

Everlyne
	Everlyne joined us in August but has quickly learned the ropes. She loves singing and music and is a regular church-goer. She also likes keep fit videos but goodness knows why, she is a slip of a thing!

Ballay
	Ballay enjoys cooking, and cleaning as well as TV, music and dancing. She too is a regular church goer every Sunday.

Corazan
	Corazan joined in July and enjoys using the internet, gardening and going to church and reading her bible.

Christian
	Christian joined in June and also enjoys cooking, cleaning, singing and going out with friends.

Linda
	Linda is our newest recruit to help in the shop and with deliveries. She has two children and two grand children and loves her dog, a Yorkshire Terrier.

Laura
	Our full-time shop assistant is now on one year's maternity leave, with her little boy Charlie, due at the end of October!

Weisla
	Weisla works full-time as an ironer and her interests include cooking - especially cakes, gardening and being a Mum and Grandma!

Juliet
	Juliet (a full time ironer) recently returned after 6 months maternity leave. Mum to a gorgeous little girl, Juliet enjoys cooking, reading and shopping!

Jurgita
	With us as a full-time ironer for two years now. Jurgita enjoys cinema, music - and especially holidays!

Lorraine
	Our full-time delivery driver for over a year now, Lorraine enjoys DIY, reading and talking her crazy dog out for long walks.

Lesley
	A retired driver, Lesley now works part-time as an ironer. Her interests include her family and travel.

Noon
	A recent addition to out full-time ironing staff, Noon is also keen on travel and cooking.

Krystyna
	Another full-time ironer, Krystyna also helps out on the cleaning when we are really busy. Krystyna likes music, travel and shopping.

"Favourite Ironer"

Ironing is returned to customers with a card saying by whom it was ironed. If you have a favourite, you can express a preference and we will do our best to oblige!! But please bear in mind that all our staff are experienced, well trained and conscientious!
