There are many things you simply shouldn’t wash at home. Putting single large items into your domestic machine is damaging to the drum, but not in our super duper machines which are specifically built to cope!

Lots of new mums bring us their weekly washing as they understandably just get behind with everything and don’t want to worry about. Plus babies create a lot of washing even if their clothes are tiny!
Some of our customers bring all the laundry and ironing in after a holiday because they want to avoid the downer of having to do all that work on their return.
We even have people who travel with work who bring in their suitcase so we can wash the contents, iron it, fold it and pack it back into the suitcase! How’s that for effective organisation?

As we’ve always said, “If it can be got out, we’ll get it out. If it can’t, we can’t!”.
The lovely Lorraine and Helen are our stain removal queens. They’re brilliant at it, and persistent too. Nine times out of ten they’re successful with removing stains.
Laundry collection and delivery in Reading
Our delivery and collection times for all our services are:
- Monday collection - We collect in Henley-on-Thames and surrounding villages onMonday mornings and then do Burghfield in the afternoon.
- Tuesday collection - At 6.30am on Tuesdays our driver leaves the shop to coverSpencer’s Wood, Arborfield, Wokingham, Winnersh, Shinfield, and Earley.
- Wednesday collection - On Wednesday our driver leaves at 8am to collect from Pangbourne, Whitchurch, Basildon, Aldworth, and the villages west of our shop.
- Daily collection - We also collect and deliver daily in Caversham and Tilehurst. Our turnaround is a guaranteed for 24 hours (iron only), but obviously laundry may take longer, especially if items can’t be tumble dried.
Turnaround is 24-48 hours if it can be tumbled dried.
For duvets and pillows, which need extra care and attention, we ask for five days.
We have professional equipment and products, which get much better results you’re your humble domestic machine and detergents.
